Skanska's promise is to build a better society. What drives us forward are our strong values and the belief that people who thrive and can use their skills in the right way create both satisfied customers and sustainable results.
We are developing the infrastructure of the future and challenging both ourselves and the industry on issues related to climate and sustainability. The goal is clear: climate neutrality across the entire value chain by 2045, and by 2030 we aim to halve our climate footprint.
We are now looking for a project manager for one of our land districts in Stockholm, where you will work on land projects with a strong sustainability focus. We operate in both large projects such as Slussen and smaller development projects, often on behalf of the City of Stockholm.
Work with the business and steer the project towards set goals
As a project manager, you have a key role with overall responsibility for the project, and together with your colleagues, you ensure that the project is directed towards set goals. You build relationships and ensure that we improve together with our customers.
You are part of the district's management team and work to develop and steer the district in important strategic issues in close collaboration with the district manager. The district aims to be at the forefront and continuously develop and improve. We strive for a culture characterized by humility, collaboration, solution orientation, and engagement.
Your tasks include, among other things:
- Overall responsibility for the projects where you work with the business and production from the bidding and calculation phase to handover of the project to the customer, as well as responsibility for the project during the warranty period.
- Responsibility for customer, contract, and creating customer value in the project.
- Create conditions for employees and teams through development, learning, health, and inclusion.
- Steer the project towards set economic and production goals that meet our customers' expectations.
- Together with the production manager, develop well-functioning and successful teams.
- Actively work for a culture based on our values where diversity and inclusion are important components.
- Contribute to Skanska continuing to be a role model regarding climate-adapted community building, safety, and profitability.
Experienced project manager with a communicative leadership style
We are looking for someone who is structured, outgoing, and confident in social contexts. You are empathetic and attentive, and enjoy collaborating and building relationships in different parts of a project. At the same time, you have a natural drive, enjoy challenges, and are motivated by achieving results together with others.
You are curious, want to learn new things, and have the ability to see the big picture, from planning and communication to execution. Your communicative ability allows you to reach out in a clear and inclusive way.
The position requires:
- At least five years of experience from projects in land and construction or building operations.
- At least two years as a project manager.
- Experience in managing project economics, such as ongoing and quantity-based.
- Previously worked in contracts and collaborative projects.
- Worked with leadership and created conditions for employees and teams through development, learning, health, and inclusion.
The position requires a technical university degree or vocational training, fluent knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing, as well as good IT skills.
It is an advantage if you have previously worked in cross-functional teams with various stakeholders, such as internal collaborations but also with customers. Experience with projects with high sustainability requirements is also a plus.
Welcome with your application by March 4
Please submit your application with a CV. Selection will take place after the application deadline. If you have questions about the position, please contact Lisa Kroon at tel 070-995 76 24.
